Email Accounts In Outlook 2000

Step 1

Open Outlook 2000 and click on Tools and Accounts.

Step 2

Click the Add button and then Mail.

Step 3

Enter your name into the Display Name box and click Next.

Enter the email address that you are setting up into the Email Address box, then click Next.

Step 5

Enter the incoming into the Incoming mail (POP or IMAP) server and outgoing server into the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server. you can find the server details in the email that we have sent you. Now click Next.

Step 6

Enter your email address into the Account Name box and the password that is on the email that we sent you in the Password box and click next, next and finish.

Step 7

You will now be back at the email accounts box. Click on the properties button.

Step 8

Now click on the Servers tab and tick the My Server Requires Authentication box. Now click the Apply button, then the ok button and close the email accounts box.
