Google Optimisation
As part of SiteWizard's ongoing partnership with the British Shops and Stores Association (bssa), we gave a series of talks on the subject of Search Engine Optimisation and the future of ecommerce at the Top Drawer retail show held at Earl's Court.
If you would like to watch the 42 minute Search Engine Optimisation presentation and tutorial then click here. Please note that the powerpoint presentation is not very clear, but can be downloaded and viewed separately here.
We are frequently asked...
"How do I get my site to the top of Google?". This page explains the free optimisation techniques used to promote your site in Google. To get your site to the top TODAY but at a cost, see our Pay Per Click guide to Google Adwords.
Whilst all SiteWizard sites are built to be search engine friendly this does not automatically get you to the top of the search engine results!
All of the key components of Google Optimisation are built into the SiteWizard Content Management System, to allow you to edit body text, meta tags, title tags etc. etc.
Our eCommerce sites are produced using our Google Optimisation system, which means each product and all category pages are produced using highly optimised code and seen by Google as flat HTML as well as being database searchable. Google loves flat HTML rather than dynamic products so we have made a hybrid of the two. You get the best of both worlds!
